About me

I’m an integrative therapist with experience of working with children, teens and adults.  As an integrative practitioner, I believe that no one size fits all and I offer the flexibility to integrate different approaches in order to adapt the therapy to best suit your individual needs.  I always put the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my work with clients and work in a trauma informed, neurodiversity, sexuality and gender affirming way, with the aim of creating a safe, warm, non-judgemental space.  With a background in working creatively, I am open to finding different ways of collaboratively exploring the issues that are important to you.I

I have a particular interest in the ways that early attachments can impact on our relational patterns throughout our lives and I have significant experience of working with adoptive and kinship care families and young people who have experienced early life trauma.  Before training as a therapist, I worked for 23 years in in the education sector as a primary school teacher, senior leader and a specialist mentor for university students.
